Calling all beachcombers! Unleash your inner artist and transform the wonders of the seaside into a stunning piece of jewellery.
This workshop will guide you through creating a unique silver metal clay pendant inspired by your favourite coastal finds.
You will learn how to handle the clay, roll it out and use textures, moulds and tools to create designs reminiscent of seashells, starfish and glittering rockpools.
You can chose to incorporate stones into your design and I will show you a simple way to set fireable cubic zirconia gemstones.
Once your creation is complete I will guide you through the drying and firing process and you will watch as your creation changes from soft clay to fine silver.
Finally I will show you how to polish and finish your piece and how to add a patina if you wish. I will finish your pendant by hanging it from an 18″ sterling silver chain and you will leave the workshop with a unique, handmade seashore inspired necklace.
